  • Move Over Apple Cider Vinegar

Say HeyYo to Coconut Vinegar 🌴

Coconut vinegar has propelled into the spotlight for its many health benefits. Check them out below

  • Over 65 minerals

The purest form of coconut vinegar made from the sap of young coconut blossoms is enriched with over 65 minerals and electrolytes.

  • King of probiotics

Coconut vinegar nutritionally exceeds other vinegars like apple cider vinegar with higher active enzymes, probiotics, prebiotics and vitamins.

  • Amino acids

All 9 essential and 8 non-essential amino acids for protein synthesis, cell repair, improved immunity and energy production.

  • Purity

It is naturally fermented, contains no preservatives, additives or alterations during the production process. Which means it’s pure and healthy.

FYI: make sure that you’re using the coconut vinegar made from sap not coconut water as the production process differs, meaning less nutrients, active probiotics and overall health benefits.

  • Acid/alkaline balance

Coconut vinegar is alkalising so it helps to reduce acidity present in your body.

It might seem strange that the acid taste of coconut vinegar helps to make your body more alkaline, but once you consume the vinegar and it passes into the stomach it has an alkaline action.

A more alkaline body = is linked to better cellular detoxification, weight loss, digestion and energy production.

  • Loads of uses

Coconut vinegar can be used for flavour in meals, improving digestive function or cleansing your skin

Digestive Aid

Use it as a digestive aid and to soothe bloating or sore tummies.

Add 1 tablespoon of coconut vinegar to a glass of warm water on each morning before breakfast or 10 minutes prior to meals.

Skin Cleanser

Mix ratio = 1/3 coconut vinegar + 2/3 water

Soak your cotton bud in the coco-cleanser then dab and wipe over your skin after a shower or washing your face. Leave on your skin to do it's magic!

Simple salad dressing

I love to add it as a marinade or instead of balsamic vinegar in salad dressings. Try this simple dressing for extra flavour to your next salad.

1 teaspoon mustard (your choice English, hot, Dijon or seeded)

2 tablespoons olive oil or coconut oil

1 tablespoon coconut vinegar

Add all ingredients to a small jar or cup. Use a spoon to vigorously mix ingredients together until completely combined. Add to salad.

Throat gargle

If you've got a sore throat or sense that that tingle in the back of your throat then try this super simple gargle

2 teaspoons Coconut vinegar in 200ml warm water

Gargle 4-5 times per day for 1-2 days

  • What now...

Go on, give coconut vinegar a little love 😍

If you haven’t seen coconut vinegar at your local grocer or market then check out my go-to Coconut Magic.

It is Australian, organic, raw (this means it hasn’t been heated so the enzymes and probiotics are actually alive), gluten free and GMO free.
