Are You a Walking Zombie?

Lydia Cotter - Naturopath

Sick of feeling drained and tired? Hazy concentration? Feeling flat, forgetful or foggy? No pep in your step?

Feeling flat with fatigue

It seems everyone who comes to see me at the Your Health Revolution Clinic is worn out, tired and lacking pep in their step.

With endless work demands, social commitments and household obligations there is mounting pressures placed on our bodies daily. People push themselves past the point of exhaustion so regularly causing increased stress on the body. This long-term pressure can deplete the adrenal glands (responsible for regulating every kind of stress - physical, emotional or psychological) and trigger adrenal burnout – a condition called adrenal fatigue.

Dreaming of sleep

It's not normal to be feeling drained and tired all the time but this is typically the main symptom for people suffering with adrenal fatigue.

Do you feel exhausted day after day even after a seriously good night's sleep? Do you rely on coffee, energy drinks or stimulating carbonated drinks like coke or pepsi to provide energy needed to get through the day?

These are key traits of those experiencing adrenal fatigue.

Caffeine fix for energy
